The owner and founder of Beaudell Jewellery. Esther started designing and manufacturing engagement rings in 2010 with a passion to provide a personal and unique touch with each handcrafted quality item by focusing on the beauty of simplicity and the elegance of detail. Esther handles all our custom-design appointments. She has mastered the art of Matrix CAD design, which makes these meetings so much more special since she designs while the client meets with us, ensuring that we bring your ideal ring to life. Her positive attitude and innovative mindset make her the ultimate boss lady, inspiring all her employees daily.
How would you describe yourself?
I like to be independent and I loved creating this company but now appreciate sharing this with my team and I enjoy seeing them grow and learn. I am family oriented and my kids are my world and I don’t take for granted the fact that I can spend time with them now that the amazing Lizanne runs the logistics of the company and I get to only focus on the custom design meetings.
What is your ideal holiday destination?
I love to feel the sun on my skin, to be able to swim when I want with a Cocktail in hand. Good food, good music and good company. I won't complain if a boat is involved.
What is your favorite food?
I love tasting a lot of different foods so dining at a tapas restaurant that has small dishes of creative combinations and flavors would be my top choice. It’s difficult to just pick just one favorite thing, because food is amazing and can be so surprising, however, if I have to choose one dish it would probably be a cheese platter.
What is your favorite colour?
Green would be my favorite color at the moment just because it makes me feel calm, cozy and fresh.
Do you have any hobbies?
I love sports, so running, swimming and bike riding are some of my favorites. Audiobooks while running can make me run until I get blisters as I just want to hear the ending.
What is one thing people don’t know about you?
I have my Protea colors in Gymnastics and represented South Africa in Germany 2002 and Russia in 2005.
What are your go-to jewellery items?
A pair of gold studs and the push presents my husband got me when our boys were born.
What is your favorite metal colour?
Yellow gold
Favorite Diamond Shape & Colour?
I love a Radiant cut diamond in a champagne color or an Asscher cut in F-H Color ; VVS clarity.
What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to make clients something custom and designing it while they get to give their input. My favorite thing is when they received the ring and say “Even better than what i expected”
